· Corley's Funeral Home has just
notified us that they will be providing a free Bounce House for all
attendees of the Independence Day Parade in the BG Park on Saturday,
July 2nd, from 10am to 4pm. Thanks to Ron Smith, Beth Chapman and all
the fine folks at Corley's!!
· Our High school principal Mr.
McFarland will not return next year. He has decided to move back to his
hometown of Abilene. The school is interviewing, but a new principal has
not been chosen as of yet.
· A huge thank you to Commissioner
James Olsen for recommending BG Community Library for a generous
donation from the County.
· Thank You… Sandra Girouard for
volunteering at the library every Tuesday & Thursday.

· A Big Thanks to all the ladies that
brought baked goods to the Library Bake Sale last month. We had a great

· CALLING ALL ATHLETES Physicals
will be given for $15 (cash only) to our Blooming Grove Athletes at the
High School Gym on the following dates & times: June 10th - 7th & 8th

· The Ladies has
tickets for $1 ea. Or six for $5 for the chance to win a beautiful
handmade quilt that is large enough for a Queen Size bed. Words can’t
say enough about something as well made as this! These ladies have
TALENT! The proceeds from the quilt will benefit the “LORD’s Acre” for
the Blooming Grove UMC which has been set for September 17th….Mark your
Calendars!
· Cub Scouts Pack 218 is excited to
start another fun-filled year of character building, community service,
exploration and most importantly fun. We meet on the 1st and 3rd
Thursdays at 7.pm at the Blooming Grove Community Library. For more

further!! The BG VFD is in need of a clean, good running SUV like a 4
door Tahoe, Suburban, Explorer or Expedition to help out with training
our volunteers and getting man power out to calls.
